Kuwait City: The Ministry of Health is preparing to deport those who do not leave the hospital even after the end of the treatment period. The local newspaper reported that the home ministry was coordinating with the health ministry to compile a list of expatriates who could not pay their fees or were not allowed to leave the hospital, even though their treatment period had expired and they were allowed to go.

Sources said the home ministry had asked the health ministry to provide the patients' names, civil numbers, hospital and ward as well as the patient's health status. In addition to charging their discharge fees from the hospital, these patients will be deported to their home countries.

The new decision comes in the wake of a large number of patients refusing to leave the hospital after the treatment period, which has affected the health system and adversely affected health services, and they have used too many medical buds, which has hampered access to services for those who deserve it. The number of Kovid patients in Kuwait continues to rise and the number of patients in hospitals continues to rise day by day.
