KUWAIT CLOSES ILLEGAL DOMESTIC WORKER RECRUITMENT OFFICES, ARRESTS SEVERAL ASIANS

Kuwait City: The home ministry has closed three fake offices that used to work for domestic workers. The company was run by three Asians. The Home Ministry's General Administration's Relations and Security Administration said it had arrested several residency violators, all of whom were Asians.


Further investigation revealed that they were absconding from sponsors and receipts for payments to fake offices. They were handed over to the authorities for further action.

The government has asked the public not to house any workers except under the sponsorship of the same person and to report any incidents of violation.
