Kuwait City: The Indian Embassy said in a statement that any Indian citizen with a Covishield (Oxford / Astrazeneca) vaccination certificate will have no difficulty in returning to Kuwait if they have a valid residency permit and employment contract. The embassy said that covishield is the equivalent of Oxford / Astrazeneca and that covishield (Oxford / AstraSeneca) is a Kuwaiti approved vaccine.

Authorities have not announced procedures for admitting foreign nationals to Kuwait. The Embassy recommends that those who wish to travel to Kuwait obtain a flight ticket only after obtaining the necessary permission from the Kuwaiti authorities. The embassy clarified that only those who have been fully vaccinated should register and upload the final vaccination certificate. Those who have already submitted the first dose certificate can make the necessary changes using the same official link and upload the final vaccination certificate. Scanned copies of both certificates can be uploaded in 500 Kb set file size as part of a single PDF file.
