NO FUNDS TO COMPENSATE EXPATRIATES IN GOVERNMENT INSTITUTIONS, MINISTRY OF FINANCE KUWAIT

  • 28/07/2021

Kuwait City: The local newspaper reported that the Civil Service Commission had asked the finance ministry to find money to pay benefits to expatriates who have lost their jobs in government agencies. Citizens were recruited to replace expatriates who worked in government agencies. Expatriates who have lost their jobs in this way are entitled to indemnity for months.

While some left Kuwait before receiving the amount, some remain with notices to stay in the country until the arrears are received. A large number of expatriates lost their jobs in this way. This is why the budget for this was not fulfilled.
