AMBASSADOR SIBI GEORGE PLANTED SAPLING IN INDIAN HOUSE AS PART OF INDEPENCE DAY

Kuwait City: Ambassador Sibi George planted a sapling at India House as part of the Independence Day celebrations. "It is everyone's responsibility to protect the environment and the importance of the environment is highlighted in the President's Independence Day message," Sibi George said. The Ambassador reminded that the present generation has a responsibility to free future generations from air pollution and all should do their best to protect the environment.


The Embassy is organizing various events to mark the 75th Independence Day of India and the 60th anniversary of India-Kuwait diplomatic relations. Hundreds of KGL buses ply the roads of Kuwait, displaying images of India's cultural diversity. Many people are posting photos on social media from a special photo booth set up for embassy visitors. Kuwait also took an active part in the 'Asadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' organized by the Union Ministry of Culture.
