REPRESENTATION OF WOMEN IN KUWAIT ARMY, MINISTER SAID DECISION WAS NOT UNCONSTITUTIONAL

Kuwait City: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Al Ali has said that the representation of women in the Kuwaiti army is not unconstitutional. He added that the constitution does not discriminate between men and women. Women are also represented in the Kuwaiti army; The minister said the decision was not unconstitutional


He added that women would be given suitable employment according to their abilities. The defense minister was addressing a meeting at the ministry on the issue of allowing women to join the army. 

The meeting discussed in detail the issues related to women's enlistment in the army, including registration and employment. Top officials also attended the meeting.
