Kuwait City: The Kuwait International Airport is set to become 100 percent operational at the start of the winter schedule on November 1, said Civil Aviation General Administration Director General Engineer Youssef Al Fawzan. He also revealed that Terminal Two and Cargo City will be a global "transit" hub connecting Kuwait to the East and West by 2024.

Terminals one, three, four and five are ready. In collaboration with the Ministries of Home Affairs and Health and the General Administration of Customs, all preparations have been made to return to the situation before covid. From November 1, the number of flights will be the same as the demand of the airlines. He said the full operation of the airport would lead to a reduction in ticket prices to all countries in the world.

Civil aviation and the air transport sector were the worst hit areas during the covid period. There are leading companies that have declared bankruptcy. To overcome this crisis, Kuwait has signed air transport agreements with more than 133 countries. He added that airlines are welcome to operate in Kuwait.
