PAI CLOSES 15 FACTORIES DUE TO CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL FRAUD

Kuwait City: The construction industry is still reeling from crisis after crisis. Following the crisis of construction material shortages and recent price increases, another crisis has hit the market due to a shortage of construction workers as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.


The latest crisis, which has exacerbated matters, is the closure of one-third of Kuwait's construction material factories due to "cheating," after the Public Authority for Industry issued decisions to close 15 construction material factories and refer them to the Commercial Prosecution on charges of commercial fraud.
