ANNUAL HEALTH INSURANCE FOR FOREIGNERS STARTS AT 130 DINARS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The annual health insurance premium for foreigners will start at 130 dinars, according to Tamar Arab, CEO of Health Insurance Hospitals Company (Daman). Tamar Arab said the increase would be 20 dinars every two years and the maximum insurance limit would be set at 190 dinars. Action will be taken soon. The new health insurance will come into effect with the opening of the first hospital in Ahmadi. 


The current amount is 50 dinars. Adjust government hospital services entirely for natives and run specialized treatment centers for foreigners under insurance companies. Clinics and hospitals will be included. Daman insurance policy covers diagnosis, treatment and medication. Treatment will be made available to family members as well. Pediatric, dental, radiology and laboratory services are available at the clinics.

In the first phase, 300-bed hospitals will be set up in Ahmadi and Zahra. Tamar Arab said the Ministry of Health was currently issuing an additional fee of 50 dinars for radiology services, laboratories and other services in government centers and hospitals.
