The trial of a fraudster in the Embassy of Kuwait's health office has begun.

KUWAIT CITY, - After Egypt extradited him to the United States on December 14, a federal court in Washington D.C., USA, has finally begun the trial sessions of a naturalized American citizen in a case filed in 2014.

The fugitive, who has been on the run for seven years, will face charges related to a fraud crime committed against the health office of the Kuwaiti Embassy in Washington, according to the Al-Rai daily.


According to the case file received by the court during  first appearance, he is an American citizen known as "A.K." who is 62 years old and of Egyptian-Sudanese origin.

The relevant Egyptian authorities turned him over to the US at the request of the US.
