The General Administration of Customs has successfully foiled an attempt to smuggle a large quantity of medicines out of Kuwait through the Abdali border crossing.
Customs inspectors at the Abdali Customs Department became suspicious of a shipment leaving the country and carried out a detailed inspection. They discovered six large boxes containing a total of 1,837 packages of various types of medication.
The shipment was immediately seized, and all confiscated medicines were handed over to the Ministry of Health for appropriate legal and administrative action.
