Kuwait is the most expensive country in the Gulf

KUWAIT CITY: Between 2011 and 2020, Kuwait was recognised as the most costly Gulf country in terms of cost of living. With an increase in the consumer price index, which measures inflation, high prices, and the cost of living during the last ten years, it topped the list. According to the Al-Anba daily, this has escalated in the previous two years as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic's consequences. Despite its high cost of living, Kuwait's rate of inflation volatility was lower than that of the rest of the Gulf countries.
