Kuwait wants to increase tourism

KUWAIT CITY: Kuwait is focusing on the reconstruction of its tourism sector, according to a report published by Collier International Group Inc., and has announced a capital commitment of $830 million through the Kuwait Investment Authority to help it accomplish its tourism goals, says Al-Anba daily. Following the announcement, the Tourism Enterprises Company (TEC) disclosed the country's hospitality, leisure, and entertainment sector reconstruction plans, as well as intentions to implement three significant projects. According to the statement, the firm aspires to repurpose, renovate, and redevelop existing tourism facilities in order to deliver new world-class experiences for guests in keeping with the New Kuwait 2035 goal. In the third quarter of 2020, it is expected to increase by 5%.
