Kuwait City: The Director-General of the General Administration of Customs has issued instructions prohibiting the importation of all sorts of live birds, hatching eggs, and one-day-old chicks from France, Iran, Belgium, Pakistan, and Bulgaria for the time being. This decision was made in response to the outbreak of highly virulent H5N1 avian influenza in those nations.
