VACCINATION OF CHILDREN PROGRESSES RAPIDLY, CAMPAIGN TO ENSURE IMMUNITY

Kuwait City: Assessing that the health situation in the country will improve with the easing of covid controls and the opening up of everything in the country. Daily covid figures and the number of hospital admissions are currently declining. In the last two days, the Ministry of Health has launched a national campaign for covid vaccination along with easing of restrictions. The campaign was organized to ensure social immunity.


At the same time, efforts to vaccinate children between the ages of five and 11 are progressing effectively. The vaccine is currently being given to people with chronic illnesses and those in the high-risk category. Steps to make the vaccine available to all will begin soon. Vaccination appointments can be made by phone to parents. It is estimated that 300 children in this category were vaccinated yesterday alone.
