ENCASHMENT LEAVE IS APPLIED FOR BY AROUND 1,600 EMPLOYEES

Kuwait City: Eng. Ahmed Al-Saleh, the Director of the Information Systems Center and the official spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works, said that approximately 900 employees have applied to cash their annual leave balance during service as a result of a decision issued by the Civil Service Commission on 4/10/2022; Resolution No. 2 of 2022. 


Al-Saleh stated that shortly after the decision was issued, the Ministry of Public Works' Undersecretary issued Circular No. 39/ 2022 on the mechanism for requesting the exchange of cash allowance, in accordance with the decisions and circulars issued in this regard, and the Ministry began receiving requests from its employees in accordance with the circular. According to Al-Saleh, the Civil Service Bureau's rules apply in this case, and the applicant must meet a number of requirements in order to be eligible for the remainder of his vacation.
