EID CELEBRATIONS, LARGE CROWDS AT KUWAIT BARBER SHOPS

Kuwait City: As part of the Eid al-Fitr celebrations, all members of the family, regardless of age, cut their hair in Kuwait following a beautiful ceremony. This practice came to a complete halt during the crisis of the Covid epidemic. The people are celebrating Eid by resuming the rituals as the country returns to normal life.


All the barber shops are very crowded. The barber shops had informed that they would have to stop having to make appointments in advance as the customers were uncontrollably full. The barber shops are working hard to sterilize the shops to prevent the epidemic and prepare separate chairs for each customer and take the necessary health precautions. However, there has been an increase of 500 fils in barber shop rates over the previous year.
