DGCA RECEIVES ISO 9001 CERTIFICATION

Kuwait City: Kuwait's Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been awarded an ISO 9001 certificate for its aviation data monitoring division, which is part of the DGCA's air navigation sector. After implementing the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) criteria, the DGCA has won this certificate for organising quality systems for the second time. By adopting a qualification plan that meets quality department criteria, the data monitoring division updated its devices and systems to organise flight plans and navigational maps provided to users by airlines' firms and aircraft operators, it added.The DGCA also stated that it will continue to enhance the quality management department in order to guarantee and ensure the safety, regularity, and efficiency of international air navigation in the country. When an organisation is ISO 9001 certified, it implies it has met the requirements of ISO 9001, which establishes an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS). ISO 9001 assesses the appropriateness and effectiveness of your Quality Management System while also requiring you to identify and implement changes.
