KUWAIT WILL WITNESS THE LONGEST DAY TOMORROW

Kuwait City: Kuwait will witness the longest hours of the year in the Gulf region on Tuesday. The Al Ojari Scientific Center said it would be 14 hours and two minutes tomorrow. Tomorrow night will be nine hours and 58 minutes. Khalid al-Zaman, the center's director of public relations, said that this was due to Kuwait's geographical location on the northern tip of the Arabian Gulf.

This phenomenon is repeated every year due to the obvious movement of sunlight and its maximum amplitude in the Northern Hemisphere. One of the main factors contributing to the rise in temperature during this period is the high amgill of sunlight. It is almost perpendicular to the region, especially Kuwait. This increases the length of the day. He added that the sun is at its maximum in Kuwait these days.
