PRICE OF A BARREL OF KUWAITI OIL ROSE 4.79 DOLLARS TO 109.24

Kuwait City: According to the price reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, the price of a barrel of Kuwaiti oil increased by 4.79 dollars to reach 109.24 dollars a barrel in trading on Friday, up from 104.45 dollars a barrel in trading the day before.


Brent crude futures increased $2.37 to settle at $107.02 a barrel on international markets, while US West Texas Intermediate crude increased $2.06 to hit $104.79 per barrel.
