Kuwait City:  The total number of those subject to insurances in Kuwait increased by 6,964 during the first 3 months of 2022, as their number reached at the end of last March about 657.6 thousand subject and subject to insurance, compared to 650.6 thousand at the end of December 2021.


In detail, the number of insured civilians working for an employer and self-employed increased by 4274 in the first 3 months of the year, from 404.4 thousand at the end of December 2021 to 408.7 thousand at the end of March 2022, while the numbers show that the number of insured civilians are working civilians. The new employer and self-employed account for more than 61% of the total increase in the number of those subject to insurance.

The number of insured civilians working for an employer increased by 4,237 people, bringing their number from 387.6 thousand people at the end of December 2021, compared to 391.8 thousand people at the end of last March, and the average salary or insurance bracket for them increased from 708 to 710 dinars.

The number of self-employed civilians increased by 37 from 16.8 thousand at the end of December 2021 to 16.8 thousand at the end of last March, and the average salary or insurance bracket for them increased from 568 to 572 dinars.
