KUWAIT RANKS SECOND IN POLITICAL FREEDOM AND THIRD IN GULF FOR PROSPERITY

Kuwait City: According to the "Freedom and Prosperity Index" published by the esteemed American think tank "Atlantic Council," Kuwait was ranked third in the Gulf and 49th overall in terms of "prosperity". Kuwait scored 60.2 out of a possible 100, earning it a "mostly prosperous" classification on the index, placing it third overall behind the UAE and Qatar (43 globally). In terms of the freedom index, Kuwait came in second in the Gulf after coming in 125th overall, according to the "Atlantic Council" index, which gave Kuwait 43.3 out of 100 points for being "mostly not free."


Every nation's level of economic, political, and legal freedom is tracked by the Freedom and New Prosperity Index. The world's nations' economic health and human prosperity over the same time period are also measured by the Prosperity Index. In that order, the wealthiest nations in the world were Switzerland, Norway, Luxembourg, Iceland, Ireland, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Germany. Finland came in first place on the list of countries with the highest levels of freedom, followed by Denmark, Norway, the Netherlands, Iceland, Luxembourg, Sweden, New Zealand, Ireland, and Germany.
