NUMEROUS FOREIGN NATIONALS IN KUWAITI DEPORTATION CENTERS, MAJOR CHALLENGE

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Interior is faced with a significant challenge as a result of the rise in the number of foreign nationals residing in deportation facilities. 3500 foreign nationals are presently waiting for tickets at deportation facilities. The ministry has terminated the company's contract, but it is still unable to depart. The agreement was up in mid-August. The Ministry of Home Affairs' finance division is still working on its renewal.

Those who are deported without a plane ticket will not be accepted, according to the Deportation Department. The country's ongoing security operations have resulted in an increase in lawbreakers. The business in charge of the deportees' tickets declined to renew the contract. The sponsor pays the money to this business. There are currently 1,300 people employed by deportation facilities, 1,500 by security directorates and police stations, 400 by residence investigation units, 200 by criminal investigation units, and 100 by drug enforcement units.
