PRESENCE OF 3 DRONES IN KUWAIT CENTRAL PRISON, JAIL DEPARTMENT SAID ATTEMPT FAILED

Kuwait City: The General Administration of Correctional Institutions Security Department announced that it has foiled the attempt of three drones to enter the Central Prison in Sulaibia area. The steps were taken according to the instructions of Major General Abdullah Safah Al Mulla, Assistant Under Secretary in charge of security of correctional institutions. Attempts by drones to enter the prison complex were foiled.


Security officials also managed to seize a drone. But the other two escaped to Sulaybiya area and Al Rakhi area. The drones were spotted by the authorities when they were trying to land in the outer courtyard of the prison. This attempt was quickly defeated. One was also captured. A report has been prepared on the incident and steps have been taken to track the two drones that escaped. Fingerprints from the seized aircraft will also be checked.
