KUWAIT INTENDS TO BUILD A GREEN CITY THAT IS ENTIRELY CARBON-FREE

Kuwait City : The largest carbon-free green city in the world and the first of its kind in the region will be built in Kuwait. About 100,000 people can live in the green city, which will be called "XZERO," and they will form a totally sustainable community with living, working, and tourism facilities.


The green city is currently being designed by URP Company, and the company has published some images of the exterior and design so that the city will resemble a flower. According to the company, which has its headquarters in Dubai, "XZero will be the most walkable city in the world. 

The city's layout, which resembles a flower, restricts access for cars, has roomy, secure walking areas, and will create 30,000 green jobs. The Daily Mail added that the construction schedule for this city has not yet been revealed, revealing that it will be divided into hubs for various types of facilities including hospitals, schools, and others. The newspaper also stated that the design engineers at URP Company have confirmed that the city will support a green recycling economy while ensuring food and energy security.
