SAT 1 WILL BE LAUNCHED BY KUWAIT LATER THIS YEAR

Kuwait City: Kuwait SAT-1 satellite will be ready for launch by the end of this year Dr. Hala Al Jassar informed. Al Jassar announced this during the celebration of World Space Week. The project is progressing with the collaboration of several departments from Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences, College of Science and College of Engineering.


Kuwait will soon establish a station that will receive data and images for the SAT-1 satellite. It will be housed in the North Building of the College of Science. In conjunction with the launch of the satellite, Al Jassar also announced that the College of Science's Space Science and Technology Exhibition will be held on November 1 and 2, with the aim of showcasing the latest scientific discoveries in the field of space.
