TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED WITH DRUGS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: Two people were arrested with various types of drugs. During the investigation conducted by the General Administration for Drug Control, two persons were arrested who were in possession of about 2.5 kilograms of hashish, one kilogram of chemical, one quarter kilogram of shabu and larica pills. The Minister of Interior Sheikh Talal Al Khalid and the Under Secretary of the Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Anwar Al Barjas had given instructions to intensify the security campaigns. 


Both have admitted during interrogation that they were in possession of drugs with the intention of smuggling them. Accordingly, they were referred to the Drugs and Liquor Prosecution for taking necessary legal action against them. The administration is emphasizing the continuation of security campaigns by the criminal security sector and field sectors against drug traffickers and sellers.
