CONTRACTS AWARDED BY KUWAIT LAST MONTH ARE ESTIMATED TO BE WORTH $50 MILLION

Kuwait City: Meade Magazine reports that the contracts awarded by Kuwait in September were worth $50 million. Kuwait ranks fourth in the Gulf and sixth regionally in value of contracts awarded. In contrast, the UAE led the September contract award activity with the largest deal value of 202. The sector as a whole awarded contracts worth $6 billion in September.


This means that in the third quarter of this year, the total amount recorded was 16.3 billion dollars. It was $34.1 billion in the second quarter and $19.7 billion in the first quarter. Meanwhile, $10.9 billion worth of deals were signed in the third quarter of 2021, $18.3 billion in the second quarter and $25.9 billion in the first quarter. The UAE recorded $2.7 billion in contracts awarded in September, with the largest contract awarded by Abu Dhabi Ports to China Harbor Engineering for $560 million for the second phase of the CMA terminals at Khalifa Port.
