KUWAIT IS THE THIRD LEAST DISASTER PRONE ARAB COUNTRY

Kuwait City:  Kuwait ranks third among Arab countries in this year's Global Risk Index. Kuwait came third in the list of countries with the least number of natural disasters and civil conflicts. Bahrain and Qatar occupy the top two positions respectively. The list was prepared by the German Bundestag Entwicklung Help Center in collaboration with the United Nations University in Bonn and the International Peace Law Institute.


Meanwhile, Kuwait ranks 132nd globally with Comoros in a list of nearly 200 countries. Countries are ranked from the least prone to natural disasters to the most vulnerable. Kuwait is included in the category of low risk countries. That means Kuwait is relatively far away from the risks.
