Kuwait City: Kuwait International Airport witnessed a huge flow of passengers in the summer after all the restrictions were lifted and flight services started after the crisis caused by the Covid pandemic. There has been a significant increase in the number of departures and arrivals from the country. In May, June and July, authorized travel and tourism offices issued approximately one million tickets at a cost of approximately 121.5 million dinars.

The total profit from ticket sales for the period from January to last July is about 240 million dinars. There has been an increase of about 72 percent compared to the same period in 2020. The number of travel tickets issued in the first seven months of this year is about 2.123 million. It was 788,000 tickets during the same period in 2021. What is crucial in this regard is that the Covid restrictions have been relaxed.
