SEVEN RECOMMENDATIONS FOR SOLVING LABOR CRISIS IN KUWAIT

Kuwait City: The Audit Bureau has identified seven essential steps that can solve the crisis of the phenomenon of marginal employment, which is represented by workers who are in excess of the labor market's needs and unqualified workers. The Audit Bureau warns about negative aspects and implications on social, economic and security issues. This is stated in the Citizen Report 2021-2022 "Life is back to normal" study. 


This phenomenon is one of the most important causes of imbalance in the population structure. The Diwan affirmed that it prevents the achievement of the eighth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals. The report states that inclusive and sustainable economic growth must promote full and productive employment and decent work for all. The report also puts forward seven recommendations such as adopting a clear labor policy that can determine the real needs of foreign workers in the country.
