KUWAIT AND UNITED STATES OF AMERICA SHARE BLOOD AND HONOR TIES

Kuwait City: Sheikh Salem Al-Abdullah, the foreign minister of Kuwait, praised the long-standing, close bilateral ties between Kuwait and the United States of America as well as their strategic alliance, saying he looks forward to more growth and development at all levels. 


Speaking at the ceremony held by the US Embassy to commemorate the 246th anniversary of the United States' Independence, Sheikh Al-Abdullah emphasised the importance of these relationships' depth in a number of areas and at all levels in order to advance the shared interests of the two nations and their amicable peoples. He emphasised that one of his daily tasks as Kuwait's ambassador to the United States was to emphasise the strength of the two countries' bilateral ties as proof that they are moving in the right direction.  He went on to say, “We are proud of the progress of bilateral relations, and the United States of America is a favorite destination for Kuwaiti students, patients and tourists, and has a special place in the heart of every Kuwaiti”. Sheikh Al Abdullah praised the ambassador’s efforts and contributions in the context of strengthening the close bilateral relations that bind the two friendly countries. In turn, Chargé d’Affaires at the US Embassy in Kuwait, James Holtsnider, called Kuwait a reliable international partner and “we look forward to working with the new government for our common future.”
