USED TYRE EXPORTS FROM KUWAIT ARE CURRENTLY IN PROGRESS

Kuwait City:  Companies operating in the tire recycling sector are in the process of exporting them under the supervision of the Environment Public Authority. Millions of used tires are set to be exported a year after they were moved from the South Saad Al Abdullah area to the recycling factory area in Al Zalmi. Exports are aimed at reducing environmental problems caused by used tires and benefiting from them. 


Around 42 million tires accumulated over 17 years in the area have been replaced by the Environment Authority in the period till August 2021. There were one and a half lakh frames. The annual production capacity of the factory is estimated to be one and a half million tires. It is estimated that this could soon be increased to 4.5 million tires per annum with continued operation and utilization of auxiliary equipment.
