TERMINATION OF SERVICES BY MINISTER OF SOCIAL AFFAIRS

Kuwait City: Ahmad Al-Enezi, an assistant undersecretary for the cooperative sector, has been fired by Minister of Social Affairs Mai Al-Baghli, and his duties have been transferred to assistant undersecretary for social development Salem Al-Rashid. According to sources, Al-decision Baghli's is in the best interests of the general public, especially in light of the unfortunate events that occurred during the Naseem Cooperative Society election and forced the postponement of the vote.


Sources confirmed that in order to stop a repeat of the aforementioned incidents, the ministry, in collaboration with its interior counterpart, has established a new mechanism for monitoring and organising cooperative elections. According to sources, some decisions will likely be made in the upcoming days to reform the cooperative sector.
