KUWAIT WILL INCREASE ITS FILIPINO WORKFORCE

Kuwait City: The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has stated that it intends to increase the proportion of Filipinos in the labour force. During a recent meeting between PAM Director General Dr Mubarak Al-Azmi and Philippine Embassy Chargé d'Affaires Jose Cabrera, the two sides emphasised the importance of strengthening bilateral relations in a variety of fields.


Al-Azmi stated that Kuwait offers legal protection to expatriate workers of various nationalities, emphasising that both parties are eager to coordinate their efforts in protecting Filipino workers and addressing employment issues. He hopes for an increase in the percentage of Filipino workers in the country, emphasising that the Philippines is ready to supply more labour to the local labour market. He added Kuwait has a suitable work environment that guarantees the rights of all workers in the private and domestic labor sectors.
