KUWAIT AIRPORT DEVELOPMENT ADVANCES, COMPLETION RATE OF THIRD PACKAGE SURPASSED 76%

Kuwait City: The General Administration of Civil Aviation has announced that development projects to upgrade the infrastructure of the air transport sector at Kuwait International Airport are continuing based on the country's interest. The completion rate of the project's third package has already reached 76.4 percent. The third package project has four major components. The first is to build a new control tower and outfit it with cutting-edge navigation systems.


It has an 88.5 percent completion rate. The second step is to build the runway. The construction is now 96 percent complete. The third component consists of the eastern runway's reconstruction, renovation, and development. Construction has already reached 14.3 percent completion. The airport's southern region's infrastructure services are the fourth factor. According to Saad Al Otaibi, 99.8% of the construction has been finished.
