KUWAIT MINISTRY OF ELECTRICITY EXPORTS 14,186 MW OF ELECTRICITY TO GCC COUNTRIES IN SEPTEMBER

Kuwait City: The Ministry of Electricity has announced that 14,186 MW of electricity was exported to GCC countries last September through the Gulf Electrical Interconnection. The Kuwaiti network received 10,543 MW for the entire month. A difference of 3643 MW came for the benefit of the Kuwait Electrical Network. Loads from the Gulf network vary from day to day, with one day of the month in favor of the Kuwaiti grid reaching 398 MW.


The lowest import from the Gulf grid was 3 MW on September 6. Sources in the ministry said that the ministry is working hard to complete and inaugurate several projects and stations that will work to strengthen the country's electricity network. Apart from increasing production capacity in line with various development projects, the ministry is also focusing on sustainability in providing various services to the customers without interruption.
