KUWAITIS NO LONGER SUBJECT TO SECURITY RESTRICTIONS

Kuwait City: First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled has ordered the removal of security restrictions on citizens as part of a series of reform initiatives. This decision was applauded by Parliament and the general public as it demonstrates Al-commitment Khaled's and interest in resolving citizens' issues. The decision is intended to "strengthen the process of correcting the path, support freedom of expression, and consolidate the rule of law that guarantees the rights of citizenship," according to a statement from the Ministry of the Interior. 


According to Article 36 of the Constitution, "Freedom of opinion is guaranteed, and every person has the right to express his opinion and publish it in any medium, subject to the terms and conditions prescribed by law," While the Ministry of the Interior emphasised the "cancellation of any requirements or reservations that would diminish the rights of citizens, with the need to adhere to all procedures related to final judicial rulings," Al-Khaled thanked the political leadership for its approval, direction, and support for the actions to correct the course.
