LICENSE FOR DISTRIBUTION OF ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGERS IS AVAILABLE BEGINNING DECEMBER 2ND

Kuwait City:  Applications for licenses for the distribution of electric vehicle chargers and installation of chargers for individuals and organizations wishing to install them will start being accepted from December 2. Sources in the Ministry of Power have confirmed this. Approval of licenses will also be done online after submitting the application through the Ministry's website. 


The Ministry of Power is responsible for ensuring compliance with pre-approved standard specifications and conditions. If these criteria are met, the supplier's request will be approved immediately. Meanwhile, consumers also need to submit requests to the ministry. Suitability of home loads to install chargers will be discussed once application is received. It is an offense to install chargers in homes without permission from the ministry.
