HIGH TEMPERATURES IN KUWAIT AFFECT EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY

Kuwait City:  Kuwait is going through a summer of dust storms, humidity and high temperatures caused by global climate change. Maintaining productivity amid these climate changes was a major challenge for employees. Aref Abdullah Al Ajmi, a human resource expert, said that it has been noticed that there are changes in the performance of employees during the current summer vacation.


High temperature is the main reason. This caused the workers to quickly become angry and bored at work. The temperature also adversely affected the mental state of the workers. Fluctuations in weather have had a negative impact on workflow and productivity. Companies, especially in the private sector, need a certain level of productivity regardless of the circumstances. Al Ajmi also pointed out that this puts pressure on the employees.
