Ambassador Lina Mariana of Indonesia in Kuwait has refuted any plans of dispatching domestic workers to Kuwait. She firmly stated that the circulating rumors regarding this matter are baseless and should not be entertained for discussion at present. During a press conference held at the Indonesian Embassy in Kuwait, Ambassador Mariana emphasized that the government is currently focused on conducting elections.
A committee has been assigned to oversee the elections in various countries, including Kuwait. Citizens from 128 countries are eligible to vote. In Kuwait, there are 6,164 Indonesian citizens, out of which 3,630 are entitled to vote - 1,189 men and 2,441 women. The ambassador has announced that the voting process will commence at the embassy on February 9, starting from 8:00am until 6:00pm (Kuwait time).
