The Kerala Haj Committee has completed the selection process for the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage, with 8,530 applicants chosen from a total pool of 27,123 registrations. The computerized draw, conducted at the Central Hajj Committee office in Mumbai, included 11,037 male and 16,086 female applicants. The results, along with a waiting list, have been published on the Hajj Committee’s official website for transparency.
This year’s draw was conducted ahead of Saudi Arabia’s official Hajj quota announcement, with an initial allocation of 100,000 seats. Once the Kingdom finalizes its quota, additional pilgrims may be accommodated. Those who cancel their journey will be replaced by applicants from the waiting list based on their serial numbers.
The Kerala Haj Committee emphasized that the selection process was fair and computerized, ensuring equal opportunity for all applicants. With the waiting list now active, more hopefuls may still secure a chance to perform Hajj in 2026, depending on cancellations and quota adjustments by Saudi authorities.
