Saudi, Feb 19: Saudi Arabian desert is all set to witness the blooming flowers which were brought on by heavier than usual winter rains. Visitors from all over the Arabian Peninsula have come to see the desert bloom. To prevent camels from eating the flowers, the locals kept them at a distance. The plant is known in Arabic as wild lavender. "Its scent and appearance refresh the soul", a retired teacher said.
