225 Violations, 8 Arrests in Traffic Crackdown Near Al-Mutlaa

In a targeted traffic campaign on the road leading to Al-Mutlaa Residential City, Kuwait's Ministry of Interior issued 225 various traffic violations and arrested eight individuals, including five juveniles caught driving without licenses. One individual with outstanding arrest warrants was detained, and two others were placed under precautionary detention. Authorities also impounded seven vehicles for serious traffic violations.

According to the Ministry’s statement, the campaign was carried out using mobile radar devices and aimed at enforcing traffic laws strictly and without exceptions. Officials stressed that daily campaigns are ongoing across all governorates, especially in areas prone to heavy traffic and recurring violations.

The Ministry reiterated its zero-tolerance stance against reckless driving and urged the public to respect road rules and safety signs. The primary goal of such operations is prevention and to foster a safe, law-abiding traffic culture.
