Saudi Airlines said in a statement via its official Twitter account today, Saturday, that its Airbus A330, flight number "SV458", had an accident at Khartoum International Airport, before taking off to Riyadh, at 07:30 local time. Immediately, the emergency team of the Saudi company responded, and all flights to and from Sudan were suspended until further notice.

This comes against the background of the outbreak of clashes on Saturday morning in Khartoum, between the army forces led by Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces, loyal to his former ally, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.
