Saudi Arabia has transferred $90 million to the Palestinian Authority to help alleviate the severe economic crisis exacerbated by Israeli restrictions and blockade. The grant was formally handed over in Amman during a meeting between Saudi Ambassador Prince Mansour bin Khalid bin Farhan Al Saud and Palestinian Minister of Planning and Acting Finance Minister Istifan Salema.
The financial support aims to strengthen Palestinian institutional resilience and maintain essential services in key sectors including health and education. Saudi officials described the transfer as part of the kingdom's ongoing commitment to sustainable economic, developmental, and humanitarian assistance for Palestine. The Palestinian leadership expressed appreciation for Riyadh's consistent economic and political backing during increasingly challenging financial circumstances.
