A Kuwaiti fashion influencer, identified as ZA, has been sentenced by Bahrain's Minor Criminal Court to one year in jail and fined BD200 for posting indecent content on social media. The court also ordered the confiscation of her mobile devices and ruled that she be deported after completing her sentence.

The case came to light following a report from Bahrain’s Cybercrime Directorate, which flagged a social media account containing inappropriate and provocative videos. Authorities stated that the posts violated public decency laws and contradicted Gulf cultural values.

Following her arrest, the influencer admitted ownership of the content during questioning. Her mobile phone was seized as evidence, and she remained in custody until the court issued its final decision.
