Dubai Run 2025 successfully transformed Sheikh Zayed Road into the world's largest running track as thousands of residents and visitors participated in the flagship event of the Dubai Fitness Challenge. The community sports initiative, championed by Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, saw participants of all ages and nationalities running along vehicle-free routes past iconic landmarks including the Museum of the Future, Emirates Tower, Dubai Opera, and Burj Khalifa.
The event featured both 5km and 10km courses, with the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority implementing temporary road closures from 3 AM to 10 AM to accommodate the massive participation. Traffic was redirected to alternative routes including Al Khail Road and Al Wasl Road during the event hours.
