The Gulf Traffic Week, as stated by the General Traffic Department, is not centered around the issuance of traffic violations. Instead, its primary focus is to enhance traffic awareness and promote discipline on the roads.
Brigadier General Nawaf Al-Hayyan, Chairman of the Unified Gulf Traffic Week Activities Committee, disclosed this information during a press conference held yesterday morning at the Operations Room building in South Sabahiya, marking the launch of the Unified Gulf Traffic Week activities under the theme of "Driving Without a Phone." Additionally, he highlighted that any expatriate who changes their profession will have their profession-based driver's license revoked and will need to reapply for a new driving license.
