Kuwait University registered a patent entitled “Baggage Storage System” from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, led by Dr. Abdullah Al-Azmi, a faculty member at the College of Engineering and Petroleum - Department of Electrical Engineering, with a group of his students, namely: Batoul Abdul Hamid Saleh, Budour Faleh Al-Mutairi, and Fatima Mubarak Muhammad, who invented a way to receive bags from the airport, saving time and effort after the hassle of the travel trip, as it has the advantage of The new system ensures safety by avoiding obstacles related to bags being easily lost or stolen at airports.
The Secure Baggage Claim System was designed to facilitate and speed up the process of receiving bags at the airport, as the system stores them in a vertical device to keep them safe from mixing and theft, so the traveler can receive all of his luggage at the same time by simply scanning the card, and this process takes place through several stages.
